Last night, used the Mixed Breed Pearl, (drilled for someone else. Conventional grip for me) 221, 197.
Switched to my FMG and shot 299, 246.
I love this ball. And yes, I did screw up. Got it out early and the ball ran up on the head pin. But, it is still a 299. I needed that after not bowling great for a few months.

I have used 16 pound equipment for 40 years. I recently switched to 15 pound equipment, and I am averaging 11 pins better. This is over a 12 week period, not just a fluke. I really didn't think 1 pound would make a difference, but it really has. For anyone who has reached that age where the average starts to slide just a little, try dropping a pound off your ball weight.

This ball is a winner. It plays any line from WRWjr up the gutter to deep inside and turning hard, all with just a wrist position change. I'm sorry to see this one discontinued.

Gladiator Solid

My Gladiator Solid is drilled pin under bridge and I can't get it to roll right. I don't match up with this layout. Plugged the P1 hole and added one at P2.5 to see if it changes anything. It has close to max finger and side weight. We can go bigger and deeper if needed.
I'm thinking that I should have drilled it with the pin above the fingers like the other balls. I put the IT thumb insert in it, so I really want to make it work without plugging it. Going to tweak it till I get it right.
It does hit hard like the others.

Bowled my first 300 with this ball and I must say it is my number 2 go to ball. Funny thing is it is not the ball I would normally use on this shot for my league. But found a nice line up the 5 board straight up and in.

this ball is amazing. nice down and in shot not a lot of swing stood on 30 threw it right up 12 and walked it right in. creates lot of carry in the back end. shot 718 with it 224, 256, 218. awesome ball highly suggest it.

Today I rolled a 300 game and 773 series using my Spartan. The lanes were medium heavy oil and I just played the oil line. The ball rolls great with a strong predictable arc. Before practice I took the surface to box condition at 1000 abralon and put a light coat of polish on the cover.
